Children's Ministries

At First Baptist, we believe the parents are the primary disciplers of their children. We desire to assist the parents in this process! Our children's ministries are designed to help your help your child grow in their faith in safe, fun, and practical ways.

Nursery

Nursery for children 0-3 is provided during Sunday School and the Worship Service. All of our workers have had background checks and training.

Sunday School

Children's Sunday schools and adult Bible fellowship groups meet at 9:45 a.m. Children's classrooms are located just off the hallway on the East side of the church. The Youth Sunday school meets in the Youth Room. The women's adult Bible fellowship group meets in the fellowship hall while the men meet in the meeting room. All of our children's workers have had background checks and training.

AWANA

During the school year we offer Awana to kids in K3 through 6th grade. Awana is a world-wide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship for children. Awana meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM during the school year.

evening family camp

Evening Family Camp at FBC is a week-long program for the entire family. Mark your calendars for June 17-21, 2024 from 6:30-8pm! There will be games, music, and lessons from God's Word. We are excited to spend a week together growing in our faith as we explore animal habitats and learn more about Who Jesus is and how He can transform our hearts and habitats! Children whose parents are unable to attend are also welcome.
